Warranty Procedure – Please contact our Customer Support for help in determining whether the item appears defective. If it is, Support will provide instructions for returning the item. Shipping costs to us are paid by the customer; all costs to ship back to the customer are paid by us.
All products (unless specifically stated otherwise), carry an implied, industry standard 30Day warranty against defects due to manufacturing or failure. The warranty does not include any use of the product that does not fall into the designed use of the product as intended by the manufacturer.
Limited warranty for tool products
Chris Jacobs warrants all of its styling tools against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year.
If we receive a valid claim, we will repair or replace your returned item with a product of equal or greater value at our option. Please note that all authorized returns will need to be shipped to us at your expense.
Our warranty does not cover any physical damage caused by misuse or mishandling by the user. Normal wear and tear, dropping unit, using wrong voltage, unauthorized modification, tampering with the unit, neglect in safety, neglect in regular maintenance, and improper usage of the products will void all warranty claims.
You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for refund. However, there will be a $15 restock fee on each returned item.
If a product fails to operate properly under normal use because of a covered defect and it is within the warranty period, then please contact Chris Jacobs to obtain a return authorization and return instructions, and return the defective product. If no proof (no receipt), damaged product on your fault or after 1 year warranty is over there’s a $40 shipping & handling fee.
*Our warranty does not cover any unauthorized sellers such as Amazon or Ebay. If you have any problems with your product you will have to contact the Amazon, Ebay, or other seller.
We can ship to virtually any address in US. Orders on average take 3 to 4 full business days to be processed, picked, packed and shipped. Items shipped directly from the manufacturer may take longer to deliver.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Standard shipping is free for orders of $50 or more before tax. All orders with standard shipping travel via UPS or USPS.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
